Course Description:

Assessment and Characteristics in ASD

Gain an understanding of individuals with ASD by participating in this 5-week online course with the autism internet modules (AIM; www.autisminternetmodules.org) . You will gain an understanding of the characteristics of autism spectrum disorders (ASD) and become familiar with screening and assessment tools to identify ASD. You will also learn to conduct a Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) to identify the function of some of the behavioral challenges you may encounter with this diverse population.

After completing the two part registration first here in the Ashland University system, then on the AIM website (www.autisminternetmodules.org), you will have access to the course in the College and University Course Credit section of the AIM dashboard on the AIM website.
