BEHAVIOR BASICS 1
Behavior Basics One for Individuals with Autism
Many individuals on the autism spectrum experience behavior challenges. Understanding the function of those behaviors and having a tool kit from which to select evidence-based strategies to match the unique needs of the individual is key to diminishing the behaviors and increasing success and well-being. By completing this 5-week online course using the autism Internet modules (AIM; www.autisminternetmodules.org), you will learn functions of behavior, and structures, supports, and evidence-based strategies to address behavioral challenges. Completion of Intro to Autism/ASD is recommended to ensure you have an understanding of the unique characteristics of individuals with ASD.
After completing the two part registration using the Ashland University system and the AIM website (www.autisminternetmodules.org), you will have access to the course in the College and University Course Credit section of the AIM dashboard on the AIM website .
