Sponsor: OCALI
Center Offered: OLPD

Course Description:

Many individuals on the autism spectrum experience behavior challenges. In Behavior Basics One, we provided a foundation for understanding the function of those behaviors. Behavior Basics Two focuses on evidence-based strategies and promising practices to add to your tool kit as you work to match the unique needs of the individual to an evidence-based intervention. The correct match is key to diminishing the behaviors and increasing success and well-being. By completing this 5-week online course, you will learn evidence-based strategies and promising practices to address behavioral challenges. Completion of Intro to Autism/ASD and Behavior Basics One is recommended to ensure you have an understanding of the unique characteristics of individuals with ASD and the function of behavior.

After completing the two part registration the Ashland University system and the AIM website (www.autisminternetmodules.org), you will have access to the course in the College and University Course Credit section of the AIM dashboard on the AIM website.
