Course Description:

Many individuals on the autism spectrum experience behavior challenges. In Behavior Basics One, we provided a foundation for understanding the function of those behaviors. Behavior Basics Two focuses on evidence-based strategies and promising practices to add to your tool kit as you work to match the unique needs of the individual to an evidence-based intervention. The correct match is key to diminishing the behaviors and increasing success and well-being. By completing this 5-week online course, you will learn evidence-based strategies and promising practices to address behavioral challenges. Completion of Intro to Autism/ASD and Behavior Basics One is recommended to ensure you have an understanding of the unique characteristics of individuals with ASD and the function of behavior.
