ADV LEARNING IN CLASS
Learning and teaching are easier when students are engaged in their own learning, not only in their formal schooling. There is a vast difference between these two types of engagement. Student-centered strategies in the classroom advance the instructional practice and improve students’ academic performance by making learning more meaningful.
This interdisciplinary course features the Finnish know-how of education and helps teachers to unlock their instructional potential by showing connections between pedagogy, students’ learning dispositions, and teachers’ instructional choices in the classroom.
