Course Description:

Every teacher, including intervention specialists, in every content area knows our students need 21st Century, College and Career Ready reading and writing skills to succeed in school, work and in life.  This workshop welcomes all educators including intervention specialists and substitute teachers to review and embed current literacy research and strategies into their traditional and intervention or integrated lessons.  During the sessions we will focus on strategies that address our adolescents with weak literacy skills.  This class will have a $5.00 material fee in addition to the  Ashland tuition of $278.00.  Please contact Judith Hassel for more information or questions at
