We are working as an ESOL Department K-12  to promote and grow in our ability to advocate for our English Learners. This book study will be integral to the implementation of that process. It will increase the capacity of our staff to respond proactively to student, families, and staff needs through shared responsibility, collaboration, involvement, instruction, and assessment.

Participants will know about how to advocate for English Learners through creating shared responsibility, collaboration, involvement, instruction, and assessment. They will collaborate with team members and other building members to develop strategies for advocacy within their buildings and the district.
