Course Description:

This course is designed to provide teaching tools to educators who are interested in creative drama in the classroom through the utilization of improvisation as a pedagogical teaching strategy.  Through improvisations the participants will expand the possibilities for students to develop imagination and become complex thinkers, grow as independent and creative thinkers, develop ideas within a group through cooperative and collaboration, build social awareness, develop better habits of speech, and help build self -confidence.  Participants will engage students in multiple improvisational exercises and create and implement a lesson plan that integrates improvisational creative drama into core subject area.  For more information please contact Nina Mengali at  Please contact Nina Mengali at the email above for instructions on how to begin this class.
