Course Description:

This course focuses on several learning disabilities that show potential comorbidity with Dyslexia.  These neurological disorders affect the brain's ability to receive, process, store, and respond to information.  Participants will learn the basic facts regarding Dyscalculia, ADHD, Dyspraxia, and Executive Function.  Various methods and techniques for instucting students with Dyslexia, in addition to other combining factors and learning needs, will be given through the semester.  Advanced Course C studies the curriculum and teaching of the alphabet, reading, spelling, handwriting, and verbal expression skills included in Kit 6 of the Multisensory Teaching Approach.
