* Students who score in the “Advanced” range or higher on the OPI should be exempted for 15 hours – 151, 152, 251, 252, 357. A student who also scores “Advanced” or higher on the WPT should be exempted from an additional course, 303, for a total of 18.

COMMENTS/ADDITIONAL NEEDS

After admission, the Oral Proficiency Interview (OPI) and Writing Proficiency Test (WPT) must be taken and a score of Intermediate-High must be attained within the first semester and prior to applying for any field experience placement. See your advisor for further details.
