Jonathan W. White
Jonathan W. White is Associate Professor of American Studies and a senior fellow at the Center for American Studies at Christopher Newport University. He is the author of several books and articles about Abraham Lincoln and the Civil War. His recent book, Emancipation, the Union Army, and the Reelection of Abraham Lincoln, was selected by Civil War Monitor as one of the best books of 2014, was a Finalist for the Lincoln Prize and the Jefferson Davis Prize, and won the Abraham Lincoln Institute's 2015 Book Prize.
