Published on March 29, 2010

3/30/10 ASHLAND, Ohio --An illustrated lecture by Dr. Sue Dickson, assistant professor of religion, will be held Monday, April 12, at 12 noon in the Rinehart Center for Religious Studies, Room 18, in the lower level of the Library.

The event is free and open to the public and those attending may bring their own lunch.

Dickson spent spring break in Colombia researching "Short-term Partnership Missions," meeting with churches and speaking with organizers, educators, pastors and leaders. "Colombia and the U.S. have had close political ties for decades. We hear in the U.S. media about the War on Drugs from the U.S. perspective, but I will speak to another side of what's going on in Colombia," she said.
