Biography
  • Teaches courses in interpersonal, intercultural, conflict and family communication
  • Recipient of the 2020 Taylor Teaching Award at Ashland University and the 2012 Ohio Communication Association Innovative Teacher Award
  • Research interests include narrative-based methodologies, medical humanities, family communication and historical performance
  • Serves as co-chair of Ashland Chautauqua, an organization bringing history to life through performance
