Parents of Students
It can be frightening watching your child make decisions that will greatly affect their future. It seems as if just yesterday they were learning how to dress themselves, but today they’re going to college, getting internships and applying for jobs! What’s a parent to do?
Ashland University understands your concerns. That’s why we created the Career Center for Life Calling. Our team is entirely dedicated to helping your students find their calling, career path and that first job after graduation. We’ve had great success so far! Read what some of our recent and upcoming graduates said:

“The Career Center for Life Calling not only offers assistance in resume building, mock interviews, grad school, internships, etc. The office is filled with some of the most genuine people I know. Working there, I have met some amazing people. My bosses have not only helped me with career-related issues, but have been there for me and supported me when I needed it. They truly are here for the students and want to help us all succeed.”
-Bailey Jones, Class of 2023

“I practiced a mock interview with the Career Center for Life Calling. It was an assignment for a class and it was my second time using one of the resources they offer. The experience taught me so much about interviewing for a job and it also introduced me to more opportunities at the AU Career Center!”
-Molly Gregory, Class of 2022

“Career Services was so kind to me when I first toured AU my senior year of high school. Now being a student at Ashland, they offer tons of help with resume-building and they speak with you like they have known you for a long time. They really try to get to know you in order to set you up for success, on campus and off.”
-Abby Opala, Class of 2023
