Jump Start Your Job Search!

This workshop is targeting the graduating class of May 2018 and designed to help you “Jump Start” your job search early! You’ll learn how to develop an action plan as well as the do’s and don’ts of conducting a job search. We will teach you how to gain more exposure before your first day of classes! You’ll learn the importance of networking, your resume, and the significance of resiliency during the job search.  We plan to explore the visible and hidden job markets and work on specific tasks to help you create an effective strategy for finding the jobs, expanding your network, and developing contacts at employers. You’ll have an engaging workshop that will teach you how to network your way through the job search process.
