A team of faculty and staff in the College of Business and Economics at Ashland University designed three Occupational Life Calling courses to assist students in finding their purpose, passion and chosen career. The courses are designed to meet students where they are and move them closer to their career-related goals.
Ashland University's motto "Accent on the Individual" is exemplified through Ashland's distinctive Occupational Life Calling courses. Occupational Life Calling (OLC) Classes I, II and III are designed to take students on a journey to discern their vocational calling, one class at a time, one experience at a time and one individual at a time. Faculty members partner with students to help them discover their personal strengths and passions while designing the next chapter in their lives. Classes are open to all Ashland University undergraduates and have received high satisfaction ratings from students.
