Amanda knows a thing or two about the importance of campus involvement! As a student, she was involved with the Delta Zeta Sorority, Colleges Against Cancer, Relay for Life, Eagle Entrepreneurs and was employed as a customer service supervisor and facility manager for the Recreation Center.
We asked Amanda for some great tips to provide to current students to ensure success. This is what she had to share. “Begin your academic career by utilizing AU’s great faculty and staff! People at AU will go above and beyond to help you, answer questions and give input. All you have to do is ask. Then, be sure to take advantage of the networking opportunities the University has to offer. Whether it’s through campus events, career fairs or simply talking to a professor…there are so many tools at your fingertips. Lastly, I would say, stay connected. The community atmosphere at Ashland benefits you even after you graduate. Your years at Ashland really mold you into the person you are going to be and the relationships you make benefit you in so many ways, even after you graduate.”
