HOMECOMING SATURDAY - SEPTEMBER 22

5K Fun Run

Registration required.*

8:30 a.m.-Check-in begins in front of the Rec Center

9:30 a.m. Walkers

10 a.m. Runners

Start off the day with a 5K Fun Run! The first 100 registrants receive a free giveaway. Prizes will be awarded to the first male and female to finish the race and all who participate will be entered into a raffle for a prize pack. Official results will not be recorded. Please, no pets. The Rec Center will be open at 9 a.m. to change and shower before and after the race. To register, visit www.ashland.edu/rec-5k. Come and celebrate a football team tradition as the coaches and players hold a chapel service prior to their football game with Michigan Tech.  

Game Day Send Off

Join the band and cheerleaders as we send off the football team to a Homecoming victory against Northwood! Members of the football team will carry pieces of the original Founders Hall foundation from the Chapel as a way to honor the history and traditions of Ashland University. The first 100 people in attendance will receive a free t-shirt!

President’s Coffee

10:30 - 11:30 a.m. | Eagles Nest, Hawkins-Conard Student Center

Make plans to stop by the Eagles Nest for a light breakfast and an opportunity to talk with Dr. Carlos Campo and his wife, Karen in a casual setting.  Dr. Campo will provide a campus update at 11 a.m. followed by a raffle (must be present to win)! Staff from our Study Abroad office will also be available to chat about the many opportunities for your son or daughter to study abroad.

Football Game - AU Eagles vs. Northwood Timber Wolves

Cheer on the Eagles as they take on the Timber Wolves! And, be sure to join us for the Homecoming Court halftime presentation and Coronation of King and Queen! Tickets may be pre-ordered online at www.goashlandeagles.com - Click on the ticket icon at the bottom of the website. You may also purchase in advance at the Business Office in 202 Founders Hall or at the gate on game day.

Purple Eagle Silent Auction

3:30 – 5:45 p.m. | Alumni Room, Upper Convocation Center

The Purple Eagle Silent Auction offers the perfect time to listen to great music, update those family pictures in a fun photo booth and enjoy delicious and free food from Ashland’s Award Winning Catering! Best of all…you, your family and friends can celebrate your day at Ashland as you support one of our Alumni Association’s grandest traditions! The auction is a fund-raising event where over 250 items are silently auctioned to the highest bidder. There will also be a raffle with two prizes offered: $500 or $250. Proceeds from the auction support the Legacy Scholarship Program, the Ashland Fund and Alumni Association programming.
