HOPE

Life is hard. We all need support, encouragement and friends to help get us through and to make the most out of life situations. HOPE fellowship is a ministry creating spaces and places for individuals to connect with God and each other through retreats and special events. Whatever your situation or schedule, HOPE provides opportunities for you to experience community with other believers.

Get Involved

Hope is a ministry creating spaces and places for individuals to connect with God and each other through 2:42 groups, retreats and special events. There are plenty of ways to get involved with the HOPE Community aspect of Ashland University Religious Life! If you're not already part of a 2:42 group, that's the perfect place to start. Take a look at the 2:42 page for a list of groups, leaders, days, times and locations. If you don't know quite what you're looking for just email us and we'll help you get connected!

Retreats

Each year the Christian Ministry Network pauses for a getaway to focus on deepening our relationship with Jesus Christ. These retreats can have different themes and be for specific groups, but at their core they provide spiritual formation for those who attend. They are always a highlight of the school year. The fall offers a deeper life retreat and the spring includes both a men’s and women’s retreat.

Men's Ministry

The Christian Ministry Network believes it is important to grow together as brothers in Christ. We walk together through the terrain of life bearing each others burdens, sharpening each other while offering encouragement and accountability as we follow in the foot steps of Jesus.

Women's Ministry

The Christian Ministry Network believes it is important to grow together as sisters in Christ. We walk together through the terrain of life bearing each others burdens, sharpening each other while offering encouragement and accountability as we follow in the foot steps of Jesus. For more information contact the Office of Christian Ministry at 419.289.5489.

Connection

Connections Ministry takes place twice a month before and after the Well to encourage social communication among the community of believers. We plan events to enhance those skills because Jesus calls us to build relationships with one another. Events that we put on include food preparation, activities and fun times to continue that excitement of Jesus after our time of worship.
