Sparks Prayer Ministry

The Apostle Paul tells us in 1 Thessalonians to "pray without ceasing." We are called to live lives of prayer-- prayer so interwoven into everything we do that it becomes like breathing. Sparks will create opportunities for students to engage in such a lifestyle of prayer. Prayer is a powerful weapon in our lives that commonly gets overlooked. It is our direct link to the creator of the universe and the author of our very lives. Sparks is the Religious Life prayer ministry aimed at cultivating the prayer life of Ashland University. The mission of Sparks is to rediscover the spiritual discipline of prayer and to put it into practice.
