The Interfraternity Council (IFC) governs the collective fraternity community at Ashland University. Membership consists of men from each chapter on campus who provide exceptional service to the Greek community. Through their leadership positions in the IFC, they work to promote high scholastic standards and foster positive social, cultural and philanthropic environments for the benefit of each fraternity and its members.

The IFC runs the recruitment process for each chapter during the fall semester. They provide students interested in fraternity life with the chance to meet members of all fraternities on campus. The IFC also works with the Panhellenic Council to maintain positive relationships with sororities on campus. Their cooperation ensures the success of Greek Weekend—a series of friendly competitions to foster unity—at the end of each spring semester.
