Did you study a foreign language in high school?
If you studied French or Spanish, you must complete Ashland University’s language proficiency assessment tool (WebCape). WebCape results will let you know where you place into our language classes. Correct placement is crucial for your academic success. Placement is determined by your WebCape score, the number of years of high school language study, your GPA and ACT. Language courses fulfill the institutional Critical Cultural Inquiry (CCI) core graduation requirement.
You may take the WebCape any time prior to June 4, 2017 by clicking here. The password is “password”. Don’t type the quotation marks. When asked for an ID Number, please enter your Ashland University ID Number.
If you took another language in high school, you should consider enrolling in elementary French, Latin, or Spanish.
