Do I have to be certified in First Aid, CPR and AED to apply?
No, applicants are not required to be certified in these areas. For any applicants hired who are not fully certified, they must attend a Red Cross certification course on campus (lifeguards have different requirements).
Are there other employment opportunities on campus?
Yes, there are numerous opportunities for student employment on campus. They can be found using Ashland University Career Connect at www.ashland.edu/career.
Do all parts of the application need to be filled out to be considered for an interview?
No, we understand incoming freshman may not know their student ID number, mailbox number or times of availability. We simply need a reliable way to contact you on the application.
