Delta Zeta – Theta Psi Chapter

The Theta Psi chapter of Delta Zeta was founded on Ashland University's campus on Nov. 20, 1965. The chapter has worked to preserve their founders' values of sisterhood, leadership, scholarship, service and philanthropy. Delta Zeta's philanthropic efforts focus on speech and hearing impairments. We have partnered with the Starkey Hearing Foundation to raise funds which provide the gift of hearing to people across the world.

Part of Delta Zeta's creed reads, "To those whom my life may touch in slight measure, may I give graciously of what is mine." Through every philanthropic effort, whether national or local, Delta Zeta provides meaning and action to these words. Another piece of the creed that many sisters hold dear reads, "To my mind, growth; to myself, faith that I may walk truly in the light of the flame." It is Delta Zeta’s mission to help every woman at Ashland University excel academically so that, after graduation, they are ready for the success that awaits them. By walking in the light of the flame, a young woman not only becomes a great Delta Zeta—she becomes the greatest version of herself.
