The M.Ed. Adapted Physical Education (APE) degree program is dedicated to the advanced preparation of physical educators. The program enhances educators’ ability to teach students with various disabilities and serve the local community with inclusion programs. In addition, the curriculum prepares educators to be able to modify, adapt, administer basic APE assessment tools, and the development of sport programs. The curriculum consists of 36 hours of adapted physical education course and core classes.
