Athletic FERPA Form
In accordance with the federal Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974, all information regarding a student’s academic record is considered private between the student and the University and requires written release for discussion of this information with a third party. Even parents, guardians, and spouses cannot obtain information about your academic performance from the University because University officials are not legally required to release such information. Students can complete the FERPA Form to give individuals the rights to their academic records.
Student athletes can complete the Athletic FERPA Form to give the head coach the rights to his or her academic records. Once the form is completed please return it to the Registrar’s Office so your records can be updated.
