Europe Ablaze: WWII in Western Europe Information Meeting

"Europe Ablaze: WWII in Western Europe" will be traveling to England, France, Germany and Belgium June 7-19.  This study tour is offered in conjunction with a spring semester course about World War II.  This information meeting will be held on Wednesday, October 16th, 4:00 PM in the Ashbrook Center (8th floor library).  Contact global@ashland.edu for more information.

Wendy Ruderman, who along with Barbara Laker, won the 2010 Pulitzer Prize in Investigative Reporting for a series they wrote on police corruption for the Philadelphia Daily News, will give a presentation at Ashland University on April 24. The event, set for 7 p.m. in the Ashbrook Center located on the eighth floor of the Library on the AU campus, is sponsored by the departments of History and Political Science and Journalism and Digital Media at Ashland University as well as the AU Honors Program and the Ashbrook Center. The book written by Ruderman and Laker, titled “Busted: A Tale of Corruption and Betrayal in the City of Brotherly Love,” will hit the shelves in March. It is expected to become a N.Y.
