
The Ashland University Office of Admissions is reminding all prospective students to “Apply Now” for fall semester of 2013 before it is too late. Comprehensive freshmen and transfer scholarships remain available for all qualified students.
Ashland University sophomore Drew Windle raises his arms in celebration after destroying the field in the men’s 800 meter run at the Indoor Nationals. Windle won his first two national championships within two hours of each other and was named 2013 National Indoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year. A total of 10 Ashland University athletes claimed national championships at the National Championship Festival held in Birmingham, Ala.
The Ashland University’s women’s basketball team advanced to the national championship game with a 66-54 victory over the Western Washington Vikings on Wednesday. This is Ashland University's second consecutive trip to the national title game. The Eagles will play Dowling on Friday (March 29, 8 p.m. Eastern) in San Antonio, Texas. Dowling (30-3) reached the ultimate game with a 76-54 win over Augustana.
Ashland University’s Department of History offers a unique way of teaching called “Reacting to the Past,” in which students learn by taking on roles, informed by classic texts, in elaborate games set in the past.
Ashland University’s new Dwight Schar College of Nursing and Health Sciences building has been called one of the premier College of Nursing facilities in the country. Located at 1020 S. Trimble Road in Mansfield, the 46,000-square-foot building is state of the art and features a number of clinical laboratories housed within an impressive Simulation Center.
