Welcome to the Department of Theatre at Ashland University. Our Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre offers a well-rounded education in theatre, allowing you the freedom to explore your options before choosing an area of specialization. An 18-credit minor in Theatre is also available. With opportunities to apply classroom learning to our production schedule, you will broaden your knowledge and refine your skills in your field of concentration.

Performers, designers, and technicians will have the opportunity to jump in feet first at Ashland. The intimate size of our program engages you early in your academic career, allowing you to gain experience that students at larger universities do not encounter until their graduate years.
