Welcome to the Department of Theatre at Ashland University. Our Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre offers a well-rounded education in theatre, allowing you the freedom to explore your options before choosing an area of specialization.We also offer a Bachelor of Science degree inTheatre Education. An 18-credit minor in Theatre is also available. With  opportunities to apply classroom learning to our production schedule, you will broaden your knowledge and refine your skills in your field of concentration.

Performers, designers, technicians and educators will have the opportunity to jump in feet first at Ashland. The intimate size of our program engages you early in your academic career, allowing you to gain experience that students at larger universities do not encounter until their graduate years.
