Working to help with college expenses
Need to earn money to finance your education? The Financial Aid may be able to help. We coordinate the Student Employment Program and authorize students for employment.
As a student employee you can earn money for expenses, plus gain valuable experience in your field of study and acquire skills that transfer to off campus jobs.
The two student employment programs at Ashland are:
- Federal Work-Study
- Regular Student Employment
Check out the Student Employment Handbook and Guidelines for information about both programs and the process for obtaining employment. Be sure to look over the Online Student Job Search, too. It can help you locate jobs on campus that meet your need. We also list Off-Campus Job Opportunities as a service to students, even though we are unable to endorse or evaluate organizations on the list. It is up to you to screen potential employers.
The bottom-line is, there are options available to help you earn money for your education.
