About the IRC
Welcome to the Instructional Resource Center! We are the second floor of Archer Library, offering collections, equipment, technology, and resources for the Ashland University Community.
Explore our extensive juvenile collection featuring picture books, fiction and non-fiction, big books, chapter books, graphic novels, and young adult fiction and non-fiction. Take time to browse our new books area for recently added titles.
IRC circulating collections include K-12 curriculum textbooks, activity books, and materials kits (realia). IRC technology includes computers, a print quota printer, and our poster printer. IRC equipment includes laminators (sheet and roll), a binding machine, button makers, and Ellison Die Cut Machines. We have an extensive library of Ellison dies!

The IRC is closed for daily from 1-2 p.m. for lunch.

IRC OneSearch
What is IRC OneSearch? IRC OneSearch provides users with the ability to search for items located in Archer Library’s catalog – and target searches for children’s books and IRC collections. Included in this search are the juvenile collection, activity books, curriculum texts, activity books, big books, and IRC materials kits (realia).
Start with a full catalog search or select Advanced Search to choose a specific collection.

Services & Pricing
The Instructional Resource Center is open to the Ashland University community. We provide resources such as laminating, Ellison Machines, color printing, button makers, binding and poster printing. A small selection of materials and supplies is available for purchase and use.
