With its focus on clinical laboratory and observation hours, the 15-month accelerated BSN track is designed for students who already have a bachelor's degree in another field. While in the track, students will complete 63 credit hours of nursing courses including more than 1,200 hours of clinical, laboratory and observation introduction. For more than 30 years, Ashland has offered already-practicing RNs the opportunity to complete their BSN. Offering direct admission to qualified students, the traditional BSN program prepares students for all aspects of a lifelong career in nursing. Students enrolled in the BSN program at AU will gain valuable lab experiences beginning their first year and will be thoroughly prepared for the clinical nursing coursework that starts during their junior year through the state-of-the-art simulation center.
