Opportunities in New York & Paris

Ashland University's Fashion Merchandising program ranked in the top 20 percent of fashion merchandising programs in the U.S. in 2013 by Fashion-Schools.org.

Get immersed in a curriculum of fashion analysis, textiles and fashion evolution, as well as business courses in marketing, retail merchandising and advertising.  You may even study in New York City or Paris, and when you graduate, you'll be ready to begin a career in merchandising, buying retail, management and more.

Through an affiliate program, you can take your junior year to complete an associate of arts degree at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City and return to Ashland to finish your bachelor’s degree. Or, spend a month in Paris at the Paris Fashion Institute earning credits that transfer to Ashland. When you graduate, you’ll be ready to begin your career bringing the latest fashions to the marketplace.   Read More....

Although it does not count as an internship, I learned many things there that I would have never learned in Ashland from professionals working in the field. I was, also,... more

My most memorable experience was being apart of planning the fashion show in the Convo Food & Fashion Show. This was such a great experience and I learned so much; it is nice to do projects in class that are similar to possibilities after graduation.
