Biography
  • Joined Ashland University in 1980 as a part-time instructor 
  • Became a full-time faculty member in 1981
  • Created the Ashland University business internship program in 1985 and managed the Small Business Institute from 1982 until 1989
  • Led the International Marketing competition for 29 years, which has served companies such as RainDrop, Abercrombie and Fitch, Hedstrom and Kent Sporting Goods, allowing them to increase their international market share
  • Started the Ashland University Students In Free Enterprise program in 1991; teams have taken first place at the regional competition nine times
  • Brought the American Marketing Association to campus
  • Founded the company Ohio Book Fairs in 1977, which has since been sold to Scholastics, becoming Scholastic Book Fairs
  • Currently serves as the faculty advisor for AU Veterans
