Alumni art exhibition, featuring 60 artworks, to open Oct. 9
ASHLAND, Ohio – The Coburn Gallery at Ashland University, located in the Center for the Arts, is hosting an alumni exhibition, which will run from Thursday, Oct. 9, through Friday, Oct. 31. In conjunction with AU’s Homecoming weekend, there will be an opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 9, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.
The exhibition celebrates the creativity, innovation and dedication of graduates of the Ashland art and design program, with 60 artworks created by alumni from across the U.S. on display. All pieces were made within the last four years and have not been previously exhibited at the Coburn Gallery.
The exhibition includes artists Charlie Wagers, Hannah Moore (Osborn), Mary Jo Worthington, Samantha Carey, Austin Javurek, Brandon Doup, Kelly Williamson, Allison (Dieter) Quay, Alexandria Hamilton, Ellyn Kilpatrick, Hannah Thome, Robin Roberts, Kaitlyn Adkins, Erica Talion, Sarah Toby, Mindy Wilson Duncan, Jennifer Winkler, Lily Moyer, Kaylin Henry, Joellen Artz, Carl Raponi, Mariel (Leatherman) Van Lehn, Lynda (Hinckley) Stoneham, Lindsay Robertson, Casey Snyder, Mark Soergel and Ricki Denes.
