12/03/2020 ASHLAND, Ohio – Monday, Dec. 7, is the 79th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor, an event that historians are still working to understand.

To commemorate the anniversary and discuss the questions that continue to surround that event, the Ashbrook Center at Ashland University will host a 1 p.m. webinar, “Day of Infamy: Why Japan Attacked Pearl Harbor, and What We Can Learn From It.” The webinar will feature AU history professor and co-chair of Ashbrook’s graduate program Dr. John Moser.

Moser is an expert on World War II and the author of four books, the most recent of which is “The Global Great Depression and the Coming of World War II.” In this webinar, Ashbrook Executive Director Jeff Sikkenga will host the conversation with Moser and will also take questions from the audience.
