09/09/2020 ASHLAND, Ohio - Ashland University MBA Programs announces a partnership with DoorDash to provide meals for students amid virtual learning.

Ashland University is providing all its One-Year International MBA students with a $500 DoorDash credit and free DashPass subscription. Students enrolled in the 1-Year International MBA Program usually attend in-person classes every Saturday where they are provided with breakfast and lunch. In this current environment, Ashland University MBA made the decision to suspend in-person classes and switched to virtual learning. To provide students with the highest level of satisfaction, Ashland partnered with DoorDash for students to order meals to their home during class or other study times without the burden of the cost.

Across higher education, universities have changed structure and format to ensure the safety and security of students. Among these changes, it was of the utmost importance to the Ashland University MBA office to create an easy and enjoyable classroom environment.

“We are excited and proud to be the first university in Ohio to partner with DoorDash. This student-centered partnership highlights another way Ashland provides our students with world-class treatment to prepare for the demands of their graduate education,” said Ronald Mickler, executive director of MBA Programs at Ashland University.

DoorDash is the nation's leading last-mile logistics platform available in more than 4,000 cities across all 50 states, as well as in Canada and Australia. DashPass is DoorDash’s subscription program for consumers pursuant to which consumers will receive free delivery fees and reduced service fees on orders placed from hundreds of thousands of participating merchants on the DoorDash platform. Through the Ashland University and DoorDash partnership, 1-Year International MBA students receive a free DashPass subscription throughout the duration of their program and a $500 DoorDash credit on their account.
