Eagle Marching Band performing “Sounds of the Stadium” Sunday, Nov. 13

ASHLAND, Ohio – Ashland University’s Eagle Marching Band will have its final performance of the fall this coming Sunday, Nov. 13, when it presents the annual “Sounds of the Stadium” concert. The free event will take place inside Kates Gymnasium, beginning at 4 p.m.

Directed by Joseph Lewis Jr., the Eagle Marching Band will be playing a number of hits from its pregame and halftime shows. The concert will include top 40, current and classic songs and popular movie themes, such as “I Love Rock ‘n Roll,” “I Wanna Dance with Somebody,” “YMCA,” “Uma Thurman,” “The Impression That I Get” and music from Star Wars and E.T.

The Eagle Marching Band, established in 1988, consists of about 60 students and includes a color guard and majorettes. It performs at all home football games and travels to marching exhibitions throughout Ohio. Featuring a contemporary style and exciting movement, the band is one of the most popular student organizations on campus.
