Our Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Adolescent to Young Adult Education provides a graduate route to teacher licensure for individuals passionate about teaching students in grades 7–12 who have already earned a bachelor's degree in an applicable field. The M.Ed. program is focused on pedagogy, field experiences, professionalism, action research and data-informed instruction. The program is designed to take at least two years, with licensure at the end of the first year, and the M.Ed. at the end of the second.

This program will equip you to become a confident, effective educator—and a strong advocate for adolescents and young adults. You'll engage in hands-on field experiences, collaborate with experienced educators, and develop a deep understanding of adolescent development, culturally responsive teaching, and content-specific instructional strategies. With a focus on real-world application, you'll be prepared to support diverse learners and drive meaningful academic growth.
