Coaching Minor

Effective sport instruction requires an understanding of human physiology as it relates to improving athletic performance or rehabilitate after an injury. It also requires knowledge of the elements of the sport, including rules and competitive strategies. And it's critical to be able to  manage, motivate and lead athletes, to organize practices and competition schedules and to work with sport administrators. Finally, it requires a strong ethical foundation and an understanding of the psychological areas relevant to the sport. You'll gain skills in all these areas with a coaching minor.

Fashion Merchandising Minor

In our accredited fashion merchandising program, you’ll learn directly from apparel manufacturers about fashion design, retail merchandising and buying. Faculty with real-world fashion experience will give you a solid understanding of fashion analytics, textiles and consumer trends and equip you with essential marketing and advertising skills. You’ll also study at the Paris Fashion Institute or in New York City at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
