The mission of the Ashland University Intramural Sports program is to provide a variety of organized recreational sports and activities in a safe environment to the Ashland University Community. The program provides participants with the opportunity to enhance physical fitness, build social networks, practice good sportsmanship and enjoy their time outside the classroom.
The Intramural (IM) Sports & Special Events program is available to all full-time undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff members. A multitude of sport and leisure activity opportunities are all offered for the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. All IM Sports are free (with the exception of the golf scramble) and incorporate sportsmanship ratings into all games or matches to ensure an enjoyable playing atmosphere for all participants.

Participants looking to join a team, or teams looking for players...search no further! The Ashland University IM Sports program offers a Free Agent option for participants and teams.
Participants not on a team may contact the Recreational Services Department and sign-up as a Free Agent. Although not a guarantee, signing up as a Free Agent will give teams looking for players an opportunity to contact interested participants to fill their roster.
Team captains looking for players, or teams wishing to meet new people and fill their roster at the same time, make sure to check "Yes" on your team preferences hat you are looking for Free Agents. Free Agents can then be assigned to teams open to completing their roster.
