The Summer Math Institute at Ashland University supports this vision and strengthens your knowledge and classroom practice, ensuring students experience effective, impactful math learning.

Application Deadline: March 31

Applications are limited to Ohio Math Educators in grades 4–8 who are interested in participating in a 5‑day professional learning program.

Selected Educators will receive (at NO COST):
  • On-campus apartment lodging and meals at Ashland University (4 nights, 5 days). Staying on campus is optional; required programming will occur during the day, and optional evening activities will be planned should you choose to stay with us.
  • High-quality PD facilitated by experts in K-12 Math from across Ohio, HQIM from Stanford’s Jo Boaler, and NCTM.
  • 3 Graduate Credits from AU. If selected for this opportunity, you will complete a separate, secure registration process.
  • $100 Stipend.

We will begin reviewing applications in the order they were received starting April 1 and get back to you with a decision by April 15. If you have questions in the meantime, please let us know!
