The Summer Math Institute at Ashland University supports this vision and strengthens your knowledge and classroom practice, ensuring students experience effective, impactful math learning.

We have made our final selections and have contacted each of them via email. This week, we'll be mailing each of the chosen educators a Welcome Letter and a book that will be used during the Summer Math Institute: Math-ish by Stanford Professor Jo Boaler.

Student Participation
On the final day of the 2026 Summer Math Institute, participating educators will get to put what they've learned into practice! Students in grades 4-8 who are interested in math or who are interested in improving their math skills will join us for teacher-led activities and interactive lessons.

JOIN THE FUN! Local students in Grades 4–8 are invited to Ashland University for an exciting morning of hands-on math activities led by educators from across Ohio. This event is part of the Summer Math Institute, sponsored by the Martha Holden Jennings Foundation.
