What is Talon Track?

Ashland University’s Talon Track program gives high school juniors and seniors a firsthand taste of college by bringing university-level courses and faculty directly to their classrooms or onto AU’s campus. Through hands-on workshops and interactive sessions, students explore a variety of subjects—from web design and artificial intelligence to psychology, criminal justice, social work and more—while developing important skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, problem-solving and effective communication. By engaging with university faculty and experiencing the pace and expectations of college coursework, students not only gain practical knowledge but also spark excitement for higher education and begin envisioning the career paths that await them.
