IRS Maximum Contribution to Flexible Spending Accounts
The IRS has set the maximum contribution to a Medical FSA at $2,550 for 2015. The Dependent Care maximum will remain $5,000. AU participates in the Standard FSA, which does not include the carryover or grace period provision.
Debit Card Available at No Additional Charge
All employees that enroll in Flexible Spending will automatically receive one (1) debit card from Wage Works. Additional debit cards may be requested at wageworks.com. Eligible purchases made using the debit card will be automatically withdrawn from your Flexible Spending Account so you don’t incur out-of-pocket expenses. Flexible Spending debit card purchases for more than pre-set co-pay amounts must be verified by Wage Works to satisfy the IRS.Detailed bills or an Explanation of Benefits (EOB) must be provided upon request by Wage Works for debit card purchases of amounts more than co-pays or your debit card may be cancelled.
Pay My Provider
Would you like to pay your health care provider by check directly from your Flexible Spending Account when you receive a bill? Pay My Provider is a service offered on the Wage Works website that does exactly that. An invoice or appropriate documentation is required to be uploaded at wageworks.com for this option.

You may file claims, view transactions and benefit account balances, snap a photo of receipts and submit for payment, and receive text messages when card verification is required, a transaction is denied, or a claim has been processed. Online Claim Submission
Wage Works not only accepts claims by mail or fax, but also has an option for employees to submit claims online by uploading receipts at wageworks.com.
