Ashbrook Scholar Program

If you are an exceptional student who is studying political science, history, pre-law, international political studies, political economy or social studies, you may want to apply for the Ashbrook Scholar Program. This rigorous program is designed to expand your understanding of American history and government. You’ll be immersed in the works of our greatest thinkers and statesmen and have access to well-known visiting speakers, such as George Will, Colin Powell and George W. Bush.

Ashbrook scholars receive a $2,000 scholarship that is renewable annually.

Study Abroad

Studying in a new place helps students gain an understanding of other regions, countries, languages and cultures. AU students have opportunities for educational travel in the U.S. and abroad, from 10-day faculty-led group tours to academic-year independent travel study.
