Ashland University’s 2025-26 Environmental Lecture Series continues on Thursday, Feb. 26, at 7:30 p.m., when Rev. Jessica Moerman, Ph.D., president and CEO of the Evangelical Environmental Network (ENN), presents “Christian Environmental Stewardship: Biblical Principles for Addressing Climate Change.” The free event, which is being co-hosted by the AU Department of Religion, will be held at Ronk Lecture Hall inside the Dwight Schar College of Education.

Rev. Moerman is a climate and environmental scientist, pastor, educator and advocate. At ENN, she leads a non-profit organization that educates, inspires and mobilizes Christians in their efforts to care for God’s creation, to be faithful stewards of God’s provision, to get involved in regions of the U.S. and the world impacted by pollution and to advocate for actions and policies that honor God and protect the environment.
