Lab to Marketplace seminar

Jay Dahlman ’03, Ph.D., who serves as the associate director of licensing for The Ohio State University’s Office of Innovation and Economic Development, will return to his alma mater on Thursday, Nov. 6, as the speaker for Ashland University’s eighth annual “Lab to Marketplace” seminar. He will present “Pivoting with Purpose: From Biomedical Researcher to Innovation Leader,” in room 218 at the Kettering Science Center at 7:30 p.m. It is free and open to the public.

During “Pivoting with Purpose,” Dahlman will reflect on his career path from biology major and pole vaulter at AU, to earning a Ph.D. in molecular and cellular biology at Ohio State, to leading a team of licensing professionals focused on technology assessment, business development, licensing and service to stakeholders.
