
Primary Grades/Intervention Dual Program Overview
The Bachelor of Science in Education, Primary Grades/Intervention Dual Program (pre-K–5) equips students with the skills and experience needed to succeed in today’s diverse classrooms. Through rigorous coursework and inclusive field experiences, students gain a strong understanding of current theories, effective teaching methods and evidence-based practices.
Graduates of this dual-licensure program stand out in the job market with the flexibility to teach both general education and special education in preschool through grade five. Upon successful completion of the program and required licensure exams, students are eligible for Ohio licensure in both primary education (pre-K–5) and primary intervention specialist (pre-K–5)—opening the door to more career opportunities and a greater ability to meet the needs of all learners.
