Program Overview
The Technology Director Certificate prepares teachers to serve as building or campus-level technology facilitators. Completing this 18-credit-hour program will equip you with the knowledge, skills and dispositions to:
- Design and manage technology infrastructure and resources to support district-wide educational initiatives.
- Collaborate with school leaders, educators and stakeholders to drive technology adoption and innovation.
- Ensure ethical and responsible technology use by establishing policies and frameworks that promote digital citizenship and security.
The program's content and objectives are aligned with the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) standards for educators.

Course of Study
The Technology Director Certificate prepares pre-service or in-service teachers to serve as district technology facilitators. It is not a Technology Director endorsement. The certificate does not require passing the OAE exams.
