The Dwight Schar College of Education at Ashland University offers a collaborative, hands-on environment designed for tomorrow’s teachers. Its classrooms are equipped with flexible layouts and integrated technology, creating ideal spaces for group work, peer teaching and interactive learning.

A highlight of the building is the Early Childhood Education Sensory Lab, where students explore the design of sensory-rich environments that support children’s development and inclusive education. The Ronk Lecture Hall provides a modern setting for guest speakers, large-group instruction and campuswide educational events.

The building also houses the Ashbrook Center, a national resource for the study of American history and civic education. Together, these spaces form a learning hub that blends tradition, innovation and real-world experience—preparing students to become compassionate, effective educators.
